A warm welcome awaits on our 400 acre organic family farm, nestling beneath the Breidden Hills in the picturesque Severn valley. Open all year,with the exception of Christmas, the newly built extension to the farmhouse comprises of four en-suite spacious modern rooms. Two on the ground floor, one of which has been deisgned with the less agile visitor in mind. All rooms have central heating, colour TV's and beverage trays. The dining room has a traditional beamed ceiling and a log burner for the cooler months. Lane Farm is ideally situated to explore The Marches, Shropshire Hills, Mid-Wales, Shrewsbury, Chester, Oswestry and Welshpool and is within easy reach of mountains, lakes and coast.Ample safe parking. Our guests are free to return at any time from their exploring to relax and enjoy the pretty gardens.

ABOUT OUR LOCATION

Lane Farm is situated to the North East of the Breidden hills on the B4393 near the village of Criggion, 12 miles from Shrewsbury, 9 miles from Welshpool. From A5 (Shrewsbury) take B458 to Mid-Wales and Welshpool. At the village of Ford take a right turn onto B4393, continue through villages of Alberbury, Coed Way, and Crew Green. When leaving Crew Green, do not take the turning for Criggion, but continue on and Lane Farm will be found on the left hand side in approx. ½ mile. From Welshpool take A483 to Oswestry, take right turn to B4393 to Shrewsbury and Llandrinio, continue over River Severn, ignore turning right to Criggion, Lane Farm is next farm on the right side.
